Rules

8×8 board, 12 tops each. Red starts.
Ordinary tops move one square diagonally forward, and capture forward or backward.
Captures are compulsory. You must play the sequence that captures the most opponents; if two are equal, choose either.
A multiple capture can change direction and is played with the same top.
Crowns move any distance along an empty diagonal, forwards or backwards.
Captured tops are removed straight away; a top is crowned at the end of its turn.
No legal moves means you lose. Three repetitions or 80 quiet half-moves is a draw.
